As an IFS Global Platinum Partner, InfoConsulting is proud to present the latest innovations in IFS Cloud 25R1. IFS Cloud is a solution that is constantly evolving. The vendor periodically publishes new versions of the system, introducing improvements and functional extensions tailored to changing business needs and dynamic market realities. The new IFS Cloud 25R1 is the next release, addressing the growing needs of businesses in terms of digitalisation, automation and sustainability. The functionalities support organisations in achieving greater operational efficiency, better customer service and more informed resource management.
IFS.ai
Among the key new features is the IFS.ai platform, which includes both machine learning and generative language models. The system supports key business processes in the areas of planning, sales, service, maintenance, logistics and finance. It provides higher forecast accuracy, decision automation and operational acceleration.
IFS.ai covers six main classes of applications: forecasting and simulation, optimisation, anomaly detection, recommendations, content generation and contextual knowledge. Examples of solutions include: Demand Planner AI Forecast with a new Transformer-type model for time series forecasts, Copilot, for service and sales departments supporting real-time decision-making, or process automation such as processing orders, invoices, costs or sales offers. In addition, IFS.ai is an engine for automatic assignment of tasks, identification of constraints and continuous
recalculation of schedules. It enables faster response to changes and increased operational efficiency in the advanced scheduling modules: MSO, dedicated to optimising production plans based on actual workload and resource availability, and PSO, which supports planning and scheduling of field services. MSO also enables the simulation of different scheduling scenarios, which allows alternative schedules to be compared and production decisions to be made based on predicted time and cost impacts.
Among other things, the system enables the prediction of payment delays, the automatic creation of CRM contacts from emails, the generation of SMART targets, the planning and optimisation of production and service schedules, and the tracking of CO₂ emissions in purchasing processes in accordance with ESG regulations. With IFS.ai Copilot, users have access to contextual analytics as well as data and permission management, from simple queries, to complex decision scenarios.
IFS Cloud version 25R1 also extends functionality in operational and transactional areas. In warehouse logistics, warehouse task support (WaDaCo) has been introduced for project picking and purchase returns, allowing operations to be planned and prioritised from a single list. In sales, the ability to account for RMA returns for bundled parts and more precise tracking of cumulative quantities of goods delivered under customer contracts has been introduced. In CRM, statuses for partially won opportunities and integration with external campaigns and the marketing campaign hierarchy were introduced.
In the purchasing area, support for various purchasing methods has been added at the requisition stage (PR), with data transfer to purchase orders and change orders (PO/POCO).
Supplier ratings have also been expanded to include data from external ESG sources, including integration with IntegrityNext, allowing external sustainability ratings to be downloaded and assigned to suppliers.
In manufacturing, full support for co-products and by-products has been added, allowing them to be defined in product structures, planning, costing, and quality control. Component costs, operations and markups, can now be allocated between the main product, co-products and by-products, and inspection data can be assigned to specific manufactured parts. New APIs in Manufacturing Execution Controller allow full ingestion of co-products and demolition components, along with additional attributes, increasing the precision of production reporting.
IFS Cloud 25R1 is the future of the modern enterprise – smart, sustainable and fully automated.
