In many cases, they are leaders in their field, for whom quality, safety and reliability are of crucial importance. The same applies to IMI’s Process Automation business. IMI Process Automation engineers solutions to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of severe service applications, including oil and gas, power, and marine. Their products improve plant operations and process safety by protecting people and assets from pressure surges and curbing greenhouse gas emissions. IMI Process Automation is also creating sustainable solutions that contribute to a cleaner energy supply.
Our collaboration began in 2015 by providing local support in the Czech Republic for the field of finance within the ERP system IFS Applications. This was focused on Czech legislation, its setup and training of users. The quality of services provided, transparency in cost management and our deep knowledge of the financial agenda in IFS Applications contributed to the deepening of our cooperation. Since mid-2019, we have been providing global support within the financial module of the ERP system for all IMI Process Automation production plants. In 2020, customer satisfaction led to a direct long-term contract to provide full support for all IFS Applications modules used in all IMI plc manufacturing and trading companies worldwide.
We continue to deepen our ongoing collaboration and have also taken over the majority of the “first line” support. Our support colleagues form one team with a group of key users from the IMI plc. From the beginning of 2021, we are communicating directly with key users based on established rules and responsibilities, within the joint IMI Process Automation and InfoConsulting team.
For the customer, our collaboration has resulted in cost savings on support solutions for IFS Applications and better control and forecasting of their spend. At the same time, the quality and speed of requirements processing was improved.
